dinner reservations

 

As we are a very small restaurant with limited capacity, restaurant reservations are strongly recommended.

 

Starting in 2027, restaurant reservations will be available 30 days in advance only. Dinner reservations to accompany a room reservation with us can be booked in advance during the room reservation. We offer a same day and next day waiting list only, and cannot take waiting list requests ahead of time.

As we are a small restaurant in a remote location, we ask for as much notice as possible for reservation cancellations, so that we can offer the reservation to another guest.  We do have a $75 per person cancellation fee for reservations cancelled within 24 hours of the booking time (48 hours for groups of 5 or 6) and for no-shows.

Reservations are available online for groups of up to 4 guests. For groups of 5 or 6 guests please call us at 250-726-7001 to discuss availability. Due to the small and intimate nature of our restaurant, we are not able to accommodate large groups (more than 6) unless the whole restaurant is reserved for the exclusive use of the group.

We offer a Chef's Tasting Menu only.  This 5+ course dining experience is prepared by our Chef's using the best local, seasonal ingredients. The menu is $157 per person and is reserved for two and a half hours, with the option to add additional courses, a wine or 'placebo' pairing to accompany the dishes, or beverages of your choice. Some courses will be chosen by the kitchen, and some by you. We ask that every guest joining us participates in the dining experience by ordering one of our menus.

With notice, we can usually accommodate most dietary restrictions, or prepare a plant based, pescatarian or carnitarian menu. Our food takes a lot of time and effort to prepare, and we like to include some surprises along the way, so we ask that all dietary restrictions or menu requests are confirmed in advance. We will not be able to make changes unless notified prior to your arrival and we are not able to prepare a meal that is free from alliums, ginger, nightshades, fermented foods, canola oil, apple vinegar, or sulphites.

 

We are happy to continue welcoming the next generation of diners by offering a smaller 'Little Pluviophiles' tasting menu for children aged 5 - 12. We are not able to welcome children under 5 years old, as we have found that the lengthy dining experience is too much for infants and toddlers.

Our chairs are bar height  and much of our seating is bar style, so please expect that you may be seated beside each other with our kitchen or bar team to entertain you.
